this here is hard! one of my favorite crooked i joints… if you’re not familiar with Crooked I, you dont know real westcoast rap. look him up, best rapper alive in my opinion.
Today marks the 15th year anniversary of Selena’s Death. Her music and memory will forever live on in my heart. As a teen I used to stand in the mirror with a hairbrush in hand and sing her songs at the top of my lungs. I memorized each song word for world. A talented, fly, and classy woman; she was a true inspiration and icon to many.
On an even more personal note, i was always self-conscious about having a big booty, and even got made fun of for it in grade school and junior high. Selena was one of the first artists that i remember that made it acceptable to have ass. A true example of someone being proud of her curves.
RIP Selena.
Someone just died for me today and this is how ive been left… heartless.
